Cancellation Policy
Refunds
Terms and Conditions

We have a 72-hour cancellation policy. This means that you have up until 72 hours before your reservation to cancel and receive a full refund minus processing fees.

  • It is required that passengers are physically able to walk the distance of approximately 400 yards to and from the parking location to the boat and can step into and off of the boat.

  • ALL VEHICLES will be required to present a Glen Canyon Park pass upon entrance to the Glen Canyon Recreation area. This can be purchased at the booth on your way into the park. If you already have an Annual National Park Pass, this will work to get you in.

  •  We do not guarantee sunshine and blue skies and will not reschedule excursions or offer refunds after the cancellation period for any such requests due to grey skies or lack of sunshine. We reserve the right to cancel excursions due to inclement weather or unsafe conditions as deemed by Lake Powell Experience (LPX). Inclement weather i.e. strong winds, heavy rains, and lightening is determined by our captains who regularly reference hourly radar. While radar does not accurately predict weather conditions 100% of the time, it is used as a reference and judgement calls are made accordingly. Customers agreeing to reserve activities acknowledge that weather cancellations are made solely at the discretion of the captains at LPX and not at the request of passengers. If LPX cancels an excursion, we give our clients the option to reschedule. If an excursion cannot be rescheduled, a refund will be made. We do not offer weather refunds on multi day excursions or rentals.

  • Individuals with extenuating circumstances i.e. unforeseeable medical conditions, life changing events, or travel interruptions rendering inability to participate in scheduled activity must provide verifiable documentation UPON cancellation to be considered for refund eligibility when requests to cancel are made within 72 hours of scheduled activity. It is expected that customers who book activities/rentals with LPX have read and agree to this cancellation policy upon making reservations. Any disagreements with LPX cancellation policy after a reservation is made are grounds for surrender of booking without refund.

  • It is required that an e-waiver (assumption of risk document) be signed for ALL passengers PRIOR to boarding LPX equipment. The link for this is found in your confirmation email. Failure to comply may result in forfeit of booking without refund.

  • No weather refunds will be issued for multi day rentals

  • We rent our equipment out in working condition. If LPX equipment sustains damage while in your possession, you will be responsible for all repair charges including parts and labor.

  • No refunds will be given once our boats/equipment leaves the dock.

  • AGAIN-  We do not guarantee sunshine and blue skies and will not reschedule excursions or offer refunds after the cancellation period for any such requests due to grey skies or lack of sunshine.

  • Our excursions start ON TIME. Failure to arrive at the dock least 10 minutes before your start time means you forgo your excursion and will not be eligible for a refund.

  • Additional time will not be added to for private excursions or rentals due to late arrivals or start times nor will partial refunds be given due to late arrivals or start times.

  • All equipment is due back by or before 5pm Arizona time. Late charges start accruing at a rate of $1/min for any returns beyond 5:30pm Arizona time. (Launch ramp lines, delays, and other unforeseeable acts of nature are out of our control. Customers will not be charged late fees in such cases, nor will Lake Powell Experience assume any responsibility for inconveniences out of our control.)

  • LASTLY: We do not guarantee sunshine and blue skies and will not reschedule excursions or offer refunds after the cancellation period for any such requests due to grey skies or lack of sunshine.
