Cancellation Policy and Refunds

We have a 72-hour cancellation policy. This means that you have up until 72 hours before your reservation to cancel and receive a full refund.

  • No refunds will be given on multi day bookings.


  • We rent our equipment out in working condition. If LPX equipment sustains damage while in your possession, you will be responsible for all repair charges including parts and labor. (Optional insurance is available for purchase when picking up equipment.)

  • No refunds will be given once our boats/equipment leaves the dock.

  • ​We do not guarantee blue skies and sunshine. Weather refunds will ONLY be issued per our captains recommendation based on weather conditions and safety.

  • Our excursions start ON TIME. Failure to arrive at the dock least 10 minutes before your start time means you forgo your excursion and will not be eligible for a refund. 

  • Additional time will not be added to for private excursions or rentals due to late arrivals or start times nor will partial refunds be given due to late arrivals or start times.


  • All equipment is due back by or before 5pm Arizona time. Late charges start accruing at a rate of $1/min for any returns beyond 5:30pm Arizona time. (Launch ramp lines, delays, and other unforeseeable acts of nature are out of our control. Customers will not be charged late fees in such cases, nor will Lake Powell Experience assume any responsibility for inconveniences out of our control.)
